This class teaches students the basic requirements for installing Linux, maintaining and managing a server. We use Ubuntu Desktop so that new students are comfortable with a GUI environment and then install Apache and PHP to show how to build a web server. We finish off by using Python to send Networking commands to the OS and then creating an HTML Dashboard to display the results.
